Services
We help you get the garden of your dreams, one step at a time.
Step 1: We provide a first FREE consultation on site. Then, we give you a client questionnaire to fill out and discuss your budget.
Step 2: Based on this, we give you an estimate for the Design Phase followed by an estimate for Project Management and Planting.
Please note that the estimate for the Construction work will be done by our landscaper. We are taking this into account when discussing your budget.
Step 3: If you are happy with this, we send you a Notification of Engagement to sign and return. This is our formal contract.
Once we’ve established what it is you want and can afford, we design your garden to your budget.
When you are happy with the design, we can build it and plant it up for you.
Design
After an initial FREE site visit, the design phase includes the following.
Step 1: Design and aspirations
Briefing meeting: You tell us your vision, goals and ideas
We take a measured survey of your garden
(note: if your garden is very large has a complex topography then we will outsource this)We draw up measured surveys
Step 2: Concepts and options
We produce concept drawings to showcase different design options for your garden.
Concept meeting: we take on board amendments and review the proposed options.
We rework the concept drawings of the option you have chosen with mood boards showing options for hard landscaping, planting, materials.
Step 3: Final design meeting:
We present the final concept drawings of the option you have chosen alongside mood boards showing options for hard landscaping, planting styles, materials and finishes.
We then meet with our landscape contractor to discuss your project and he will be able to give you a quote for construction work (note: labour and materials only, excluding planting)
Construction &
Project Management
Our experienced team of landscapers bring our design to life. We recommend you let us project manage your build but you can choose to do this yourself.
Step 1: Research and finalise
We meet our landscape contractor on site with you present.
We research and get quotes for all materials, furniture etc
Client meeting: we discuss this with you and agree on what it is you want
Step 2: Full Project Management
We coordinate all construction with landscape contractor
We coordinate all deliveries and installation of all materials and furniture
We manage all subcontractors on site during installation
Step 3: Finalising the Planting Plan
We review and agree the final planting plan.
At this stage there are sometimes tweaks to planting or review of your overall budget which means that we stay fluid and flexible with regards as to what the final plant design may look like.
This could be that we have decided together that you may want to save by buying smaller plants or alternatively that you want instant impact plants which are more expensive.
Planting
Once all the ground work has been completed., the final step is to bring your garden to life!
We source all plants (trips to nurseries, sourcing best plants locally)
We coordinate delivery of plants with nurseries or collect where possible. Alternatively, we are there to organise delivery and planting of large plants and oversea all related work.
We personally plant up all plants and make sure they are correctly positioned and laid out.
Final step: Aftercare
Once the garden is planted up, we provide full advice and aftercare for the first month. This excludes daily watering in though as this will be something you can do to help your plants establish well.
